Abstract Submission is Closed

The ABS in collaboration with GEC/ESTRO, ALATRO, CBG-CARO, JASTRO, AROI, IBS, PBS & ABG, are delighted to extend an open invitation for the submission of abstracts for presentations, and posters at the highly anticipated 2024 World Congress of Brachytherapy. As you may know, this prestigious event only takes place once every four years, making it the conference of the year for brachytherapy practitioners like yourself and provides a unique platform for you to share your groundbreaking research with a global audience of your peers and industry experts.

The theme of this year's congress is Knowledge without Borders: Empowering Local Brachytherapy Through Global Collaboration. We believe that by fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge, we can advance the field of brachytherapy and improve patient care on a global scale.

Submission Types

The presentation format for each abstract will be determined by the Scientific Program Committee. The types of presentations include the following:

• Proffered Paper Session
• Snap Oral Session
• ePoster Sessions

Abstract Notifications

Each first author (presenting author) will receive an email acknowledging receipt of the abstract after initiating a submission and after completing a submission. The first author (presenting author) will receive an email notification from the Program Committee regarding its decision.

Resident Travel Grant

The ABS is pleased to offer 10 Resident Travel Grants to attend #WorldCongressofBrachytherapy24. Through a generous grant from Theragenics, 10 residents and/or fellows will have the opportunity to be awarded a Travel Grant for $500. All 2024-29 ABS Member Residents are eligible to apply for the Theragenics Travel Grant.
